Monty Python Feminist Balls

A:            Why are you always on about feminism, Lorretta?

Lorretta:  I want to be one.

Reg:        What?!

Lorretta:  I want to be a feminist. From now on I want you all to call me Mr Lorretta, Sir.

Reg:        WHAT?!

Lorretta:  It’s my right as a feminist.

Judith:     But why do you want to be a feminist, Lorretta?

Lorretta:  I want to scratch my balls.

Reg:        You want to scratch your balls?!

Lorretta:  It’s every woman’s right to scratch her balls if she wants to.

Reg:        But you don’t have any balls!

Lorretta:  Don’t oppress me!

Reg:        I’m not oppressing you, Lorretta. You haven’t got any balls. What’s your hand  going to scratch? Air scrotum?

Lorretta:  *sobs*

Judith:     Here, I’ve got an idea! Suppose we agree that she can’t actually scratch her balls, what with not having any and all, which is nobody’s fault, not even the patriarchy’s. But that she can have the right to scratch her balls.

A:            Good idea, Judith. We shall fight the patriarchy for your right to scratch your balls, sister… brother… sorry.

Reg:       What’s the point?

A:           What?

Reg:       What’s the point of fighting for her right to scratch her balls when she can’t scratch her balls?

A:            It is symbolic of our struggle against oppression.

Reg:       Symbolic of her struggle against reality.
